Whether you’re looking to take a dip in the ocean, build sandcastles with the kids, or have a romantic walk by the shore, Rockport Beach is the place to be. 

Beyond the beach, there are lots of other activities and attractions to keep you entertained. From the nearby restaurants and shops to the historic sites and museums, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Parking costs for the Rockport Beach are $10/Daily and $40/Yearly.

Aransas County Residents

Residents of Aransas County are welcome to come to the ACND office at 911 Navigation Circle with proof of residency from 8am to 4:30pm to purchase their yearly passes for $20.

Veterans

100% service-disabled veterans are allowed a free annual pass with appropriate documentation.  The veteran must pick up their pass at the ACND office during normal business days and times.

Businesses along Downtown Rockport

Shopping & Dining

Rockport Beach is the perfect destination for a family getaway. After a fun day in the sun, take a stroll around the nearby shops, restaurants, and art center for a truly unique experience.

Bayside Walking Path

The Bayside Walking Path can be found at Rockport Beach. The walking path along the shores of Little Bay is 3/4 mile. Starting at the Beach entrance and going down around the circle and back to the Beach entrance is 2 miles. The beach road is also open to walking and cycling.

Rockport Beach Park has a bird sanctuary on the West side of the beach area. Islands in the sanctuary host coastal birds such as Rosette Spoonbills, Blue Herons, Egrets, and more.

Market Days Festival

Festival Grounds

The Festival Grounds are 3 acres of natural beauty located directly across from Little Bay. Multiple Festivals are held on these 3 acres every year. 

 

Monthly you can attend the Rockport Market Days with vendors of all types of handmade items, food, drink, etc.

 

Annual events on this site include the Rockport Center for the Arts July 4th Art Festival and the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Annual Seafair in October.

Beach Weddings

Beach Weddings

The Rockport Beach is the perfect setting for Beach Weddings.

Beach Weddings

Besides the usual Beach parking fee per vehicle, there is no charge for having a ceremony on the beach for parties less than 10.

 

You will have to designate the area you wish to use then remove all your decorations after the ceremony to allow the public access to that area.

Pavilion Weddings

We have four rental pavilions, two of which have indoor spaces.  These two come with banquet tables and chairs included.

Beach Rules

Beach Rules

  • No littering

  • No glass containers

  • No animals/dogs/pets

  • No balloons

  • No overnight camping

  • Fires in BBQ pits ONLY

  • No fireworks, sparklers, or wish lanterns

  • Obey all traffic signs

  • Respect all designated bird areas

Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate removal from the Rockport Beach.

The Rockport Beach, Rockport Harbor and other ACND properties are great locations for a memorial bench.
